There’s a special kind of grace

Among the people of the land

They’re always there to lead the way

Or lend a helping hand

And there’s some things in this world

One can never say are right

And those are what we’ve put our hearts

Together for to fight.

It happens all around us

It happens everywhere

And it hurts to know that there are folks

Who just don’t really care

About the people they are hurting

Or the trust they violate

When they raise a hand in anger

Or offer words so full of hate

That’s something not to stand for

A sin to eradicate

And folks, that’s why we’re here tonight

To push against this hate

To bring the fight against abuse

Down to push come shove

To win this worthwhile battle

To bring among us, love.
